Н.д. можно избежать двумя путями: либо учетом в одной стране налогов, выплаченных в другой, либо освобождением налогового источника одной страны от налогообложения в другой. В 1979 г. в ООН была разработана типовая конвенция об устранении Н.д. в отношениях между заинтересованными государствами, на основе которой заключаются их двусторонние соглашения. Устанавливаемый ими порядок взимания налогов с участников совместных предприятий позволяет последним избегать дополнительного налога в размере 20-25% на перевозимую за границу прибыль. .
